This week, our scrapbook sketch is a 12" x 12" layout featuring a bold title on the left side with accompanying journaling, and a grid pattern on the right side housing embellishment and sentiment. Our card sketch has sentiment stamping to create a fun scene. And our pocket page sketch features a 3" x 4" title card showcasing a photo and a 3" x 4" card with sentiment and embellishment. Creative Team member Lisa Truesdell is joining us this week and sharing her take on the week's scrapbook sketch! Be sure to follow Lisa here at SC to see more of her work and keep up with her.
Our scrapbook sketch comes from Kelly Noel's Easter layout:
Our card sketch comes from Carson Riutta's New Home card:
And our pocket page sketch comes from Kelly Noel's Project Life - Feb 2017 spread:
And here's Lisa's take on our scrapbook sketch:
I loved the grid on Kelly's page, but wanted to loosen up the lines a bit so the finished project would be more me. I started with three photos, and arranged them in two rows. Rather than keeping everything the same size, I mixed different elements - a heart, my title and some stamping - into the empty places on the grid. The "My Family" stamps by One Little Bird were perfect for this date night layout! To finish off the page, I added some patterned paper along the left side and scattered a few vellum stars to fill in the white space.
