Using the Alfresco Kits with Carla De Taboada

Hello, everyone! It's Carla here and today I would like to share a weekly spread in my planner using the May Alfresco Kits! The first thing I usually do to plan my week ahead is set up my pages by adding embellishments, stickers, and deciding where to use my stamps.

After that, I always love to add an inspirational quote or Bible verse. I used one of the journaling cards from the Documenter Kit and my typewriter. And of course, there is also that lovely "Get To It" veneer icon charm from the Planner Kit! 

I made a "confidential list" using one of the tabbed list sticky note papers and the Vintage Office stamp set by Hello Forever. And I'm keeping it closed with a lovely apple paper clip from the Planner Kit. This is an idea that you can use to hide some important information, such as your credit card information or passwords. 

I love everything in these May Alfresco Kits, especially the pattern papers from the Planner Kit! So I thought I would make a cute dashboard! I used the pattern papers from the planner kit, as well as a couple of journaling cards from the Documenter Kit, to cut out some diamond shapes. Then, I used my watercolors to add some color to the background and my sewing machine to add some dimension to my dashboard. Finally, I added some photos from a little escape to the lake from the other day and some embellishments.
