We're thrilled to have the lovely and talented, Zinia AmoiridouZinia here at Studio Calico

My name is Zinia Amoiridou and I’m an art student from Greece. I’ve been a creative person for as long as I can remember, so a few years ago I decided to apply to an art university. I got into the craft world a few years back when I discovered there’s an amazing community full of wonderful crafters online. I’ve been stuck ever since, and I’m really excited to get more and more involved in the whole industry. I love working on all types of projects: scrapbooking layouts, mini books, art journaling, planners, papercrafts, and DIY projects. I can't limit my creativity to just one thing! But no matter what project I'm working on, I always love bright colors and whimsical elements.

Grumpy Puppy: I really wanted to use the gorgeous hot pink polka dot washi tape from the "Been and Gone" Scrapbook Kit, so I stuck a few strips on vellum to make it easy to cut and treated it as a patterned paper. I also punched out a few of the polka dots and used them as confetti! I really love how these kits spark my creativity and make me think outside the box.

Let's Just Chill: The ticket book from the "Been and Gone" Scrapbook Kit was really fun to work with. I pulled out all the little square pieces and created a messy mosaic collage. I also mixed in some papers and stamps from the add-ons.

Sweet: I'm obsessed with the patterns of the "Been and Gone" Scrapbook Kit, especially the specialty foiled piece. I couldn't pick only one so I used a mix of three pattern papers to create my star collage design.
