Video | Using the Been & Gone Kits with Carla De Taboada

Hello hello, everyone and welcome to the Studio Calico blog! It's Carla here and today I'm sharing a planner spread in my Kate Spade personal planner using the Been and Gone June Kits.

For this planner spread, I've used a variety of products from the Been and Gone Kits. First, I prepared my pages by adding some washi tape and embellishing with stickers from the Here & There Add-on Kit. Then, I created a pocket using a lovely journaling card from the Documenter Kit, added a note paper to add a photo using a gold heart shaped paper clip, and included a cute "oh happy day" clip from the To & Fro Add-on Kit. Finally, I added some notes for the week using my black gel pen.

I love everything about these Been and Gone Kits, especially the gold foiling touches!

Tips & Tricks:

• Combine the colors of your ink pads with the colors of your kit.
• Use a pretty journaling card to create a nice pocket. You can use it to add some important notes, paper notes, receipts, or even some lists you'll need to have on hand.
• Make fish tale ends to some of your stickers with your scissors to add an extra touch.
• Add cute paper clips to your spread to add some dimension and to make it prettier.
