Using the Silver Lake Lodge Scrapbook Kit with Mandie Pierce

Hi! Mandie here with a new "Silver Lake Lodge" layout. For this page, I stuck with a tried-and-true design. When I'm short on time to be creative, this is a tactic I use most often. I get a little dose of crafting in the amount of time I have—the problem is, it usually makes me want to do more and more!

I love using a large photo and simple embellishing. In this case, the large photo really let me focus the page on my daughter and her best friend. They met in fifth grade when we were stationed here in California before and were instant BFF's. After four years, they were reunited when we moved back. The Doodles stamp set from Jasmine Jones made a perfect title for this page!
