Using the Let's Go Scrapbook Kit with Jamie Waters
I love all the fun embellishments in the "Let's Go" Kit. The acetate circles with the matching patterned papers are a playful bit of texture. I paired my circle with the 2, also acetate. The whimsical "THIS" word art pairs nicely with both of those acetates. I love the fun patterns. I wanted to make sure they popped, so I kept a little mix of them up top and just a little cluster of flowers at the corner.
This is one of my favorite photos of my 10-year-old and her 18-year-old brother. Despite their wide age gap, they're super close buddies. I loved the embellishments that coordinate how I think about their relationship. I went with the number 2 and the wild and free chipboard. I loved the peek of acetate circle behind the 2—I'm all about the layering! The papers are carefree and I wanted them to really pop on the white background cardstock. Although the flowers may be a little girly, I had to include them and chose to do so in the corner of the photo.
I love the bold blue and green cardstock also included in the kit. The pops of chipboard elements are a nice mix of texture. I love how it all flows together! I like how clean the layout looks despite how many elements I chose to use. The kit items work so well together like that! It really makes coordinating and putting projects together so easy!
