Using the Gypsy Moon Kits with Carla De Taboada

Hello, hello, everyone and welcome to the SC blog! It’s Carla here and today I’m sharing a planner spread in my mini Mambi planner using the beautiful "Gypsy Moon" Kits!

The first thing I usually do when setting up my weekly spread is decorate my pages using washi tape, sticky notes, stamps, and planner stickers. Then, I add my chores and appointments using a black gel pen. This time I also used the lovely leaf embellishments that came in the Documenter Kit. I love all the gold foil details!

Another thing I really enjoy is adding pages to the center of my spread—sometimes just for fun, sometimes to feature some important notes for the week or the month, and sometimes to add some memory keeping in my planner. I love flipping through my planner pages so much! This time, I added a journaling card from the Documenter Kit that has space to write down “This month’s plan” and a full-size planner pocket.

To make this planner pocket, I cut down one of the patterned papers to the size of a mini Mambi planner insert and another piece of paper to add a small pocket to the front. I used my sewing machine to attach the beautiful apples canvas ribbon that came in the Hunter add-on kit. I think it looks so pretty! And to complete this cute look, I also made a fun paper clip. I grabbed my hearts patterned paper and cut out some petals to make a paper flower that I used to decorate a gold paper clip. You can find tons of tutorials on how to make paper flowers on YouTube.

I hope you enjoyed this post and that I gave you some ideas on how to stretch out your planner supplies to plan and get organized in a fun and creative way. If you would like to see more creative ideas, please check out my Instagram.

Happy planning, everyone! ♥
