Video | Using the Candyland Kits with Julie Kinneeveauk

Hello, SC planners! Today on the blog, I'll be sharing three different ways to combine this fun little Party stamp set with the "Candyland" Kit in your planners!

The timing of this stamp's release could not have been more perfect! My daughter's "golden" birthday is coming up March 18th. She'll be turning 18 on the 18th in 2018. Woohoo! A special day like that deserves recognition in my planner, right? Watch the video to see how I used repetition to help create impact, and how I let the stamp set guide my birthday planning ideas.

Tips & Tricks:

  • Repeat a smaller stamp to give it big impact in your planner.
  • Get creative with pairing your stamps. Look for labels or other kit elements that, when combined with a stamp, create a unique item for your planner. This also helps overcome the nerves of stamping directly into a planner. If you don't happen to get a perfectly-stamped image, you're not "ruining" your planner page. You can always stamp another label!
  • Let a themed stamp set guide your planning process. The fun icons in this stamp set spurred my birthday planning process AND left me with an adorable checklist that I'll enjoy referring to over and over.

Thank you for watching! Whether you're looking for maximum impact or creative functionality, I hope these tips give you some inspiration for using stamps inside your planner!
