LOTW | Melanie

Our Layout of the Week, Good Vibes Only, comes from our member Melanie (username mefun33). We love Melanie's clusters of embellishments and use of negative space. To keep up with Melanie and see more of her work, be sure to follow her here at SC and on Instagram.

Here's what Melanie has to say about her project:

This layout is about a shopping trip I took with my niece. I only took this picture of our coffee cups but wanted to document this trip anyway. I started by layering some papers and embellishments around and underneath my photo. After that, I decided to add three small clusters of embellishments to guide the eyes around the page. Instead of using paper strips on the top and bottom of my layout, I repeated a stamp to add some kind of border. For the finishing touches, I ruffled up the edges and added some staples.
