Using the Hey Girl Documenter Kit with Marie Lottermoser

Hi, everyone! My family loves to travel and we tend to do different things every day of our vacations. When I document our trips in my Traveler’s Notebooks, I like to include an itinerary page to keep track of everything we’ve done. If I already know what we're doing, I'll make a page in advance and take it with me, or if we're just wandering around, I'll make a page once we get home. On this vacation, we didn’t have any set plan, so I recorded all of the details after the trip was over.

I started by typing out our itinerary, leaving extra room to add some embellishments and details. I used a Mildliner highlighter on the days of the week to make them stand out and then added a few photos for some extra detail. I backed one of my photos with some paper from the "Hey Girl" Documenter Kit and added in a couple of stickers from the kit for fun.

Finally, I took the Las Vegas stamp set by Goldenwood Co. and added in notes and details. I chose ink colors (Emerald City, Clear Blue, Flamingo) to compliment the colors in the photos. The stamp set contained every type of stamp I needed from the name of the city to stamps for eating and drinking to Vegas icons and phrases. These new city stamp sets are the perfect way to document your travels!

I hope you consider making an itinerary page for your next vacation. Having a record of where you went, what you ate, and what you did is a great way to record memories!
