Some tender care
T went out with some of his colleagues the other weekend. He’s done it before, so I knew what to expect once he got home: A very cheery, and very drunk (on wine), husband. And I knew what the next day would bring. That’s right – a serious hangover.
For this layout, I used my second sheet of gorgeous grey chevron, another paper I’ve been hoarding, thinking I’ll use it for something “special”. I cut up some other papers as well to create a mat for the photo. I knew I wanted to graphic title work here and chose white foam Thickers, but added a nice touch with that Maya Road tag. Jenni Bowlin’s pennant punch was put to good use on the right side of the layout, creating that little something to hold it all together. The arrow-stamp from Cocoa Daisy is the pennant’s counter weight on the other side.
And the best part? I started this layout around 00:30am last night. I just went with it and I am really happy with the results.
