Jump *SK4 Sketch 5*
I started this page three days ago with Beth Ann's grid challenge in mind. My plan was to mask & mist flourishes and then put a grid of patterned papers & pictures over that.
Using my Cameo I die cut this water flourish http://www.silhouetteonlinestore.com/v2/viewShape.aspx?id=17712 in three sizes & orientations. Then I used the piece I cut as a mask and sprayed with Mr. Huey Heirloom Blue & Shine. It's hard to tell in the photos, but they have a lovely shimmer.
After that I got a bit stuck. The paper I had chosen for my title block got jammed in my Cameo. (it was past time to replace the mat, so kinda my fault) So I had to cut it a second time. Then I was just not happy with how it was coming together. So I set it aside.
Then today I saw this http://www.studiocalico.com/system/gallery_pictures/images/000/095/803/original/IMG_1677.jpg interpretation of KP's Sketch five.
Ta DA! So glad that I waited. Can't really see a grid pattern anymore, but I like the end product, and that's why we do this, right?
