Start to Finish video | Bluegrass Farm Card with Carissa Wiley
I was so excited when I saw the fabulous stamp set (they have matching dies!) in this month’s card kit. I think the stamps are always what I find most exciting in the kits each month. They’re the one supply in your kit that you can’t use up. I’ll never have to worry about only having one left…or cutting into the last little strip. My stamps stay with me for a long time, and I can love them and use them over and over (and over) again!
Today I’m sharing a card that places the focus on the stamped and die cut images. I wanted to add some dimension to these fabulous images, so I reached way back into the stamp technique past and pulled out the rock and roll technique. This is an easy way to add a gradient of color to stamped images and bring these stamped images to life.
I also combined these stamped images with several patterned papers included in the kit. I love how the colorful fruit pops off the whitewashed wood grain background. And, per the usual, the patterns in the kit work so well with each other.
Join me in the video as I walk you through the entire creation of this card. I’ll show you exactly how to add a little rock and roll to your stamped images (and a few other tips and tricks along the way).
I hope you have a rock and roll kind of day! Rock on!
