Sunday Sketch | Mandie Pierce

This week our scrapbook sketch is a 12" x 12" layout featuring a photo over layers in the upper left corner, offset by heavy journaling with embellishments on the right-hand side. Our card sketch has a stamped patterned background with a center title. And our pocket page sketch features two 3" x 4" title cards with embellishments. Creative Team member Mandie Pierce is joining us this week and sharing her take on the week's scrapbook sketch! Hi! Mandie here with the sketch for you. I love working with sketches. The scrapbook sketch this month was based on a layout I had made for the Written in the Stars Kits. I was partial to that layout; so I was excited to get a chance to repeat the design.

This time, I went bigger—with the paper and with the title. I just love those alphas in the Scrapbook Kit! I scaled all of the pattern papers larger. As a result of the larger title and larger papers, I had to move the journaling from the side to under the photo. 

One of my favorite parts of this layout are the little bits tucked here and there on and between the pattern papers.
