I don’t know about you, but I always seem to have a desk full of little tiny strips of paper when I’m finished working with my kits each month. I have a really fun way to use these itty bitty bits and I thought I’d share it with you!

So here’s what I’m working with- I literally had a few half-sheets of 6x6 paper from the Valley High Card Kit left. I fell IN LOVE with this kit and used almost that whole paper pad! I cut the little bits I had left into long straight strips, varying in width.

I also cut a sheet of regular copy paper down to 6x6. I coated the copy paper with adhesive and then carefully laid down the strips of paper, creating a fun new paper design with a mix of these fun colors and patterns!

From there, you can use this paper as a great focal image for your project! I used this paper to create a cool sentiment panel for my card. I opened the Valley High Say Cheese Cut Design with my Silhouette software and resized it to fit my card front. I set my Silhouette to the “Heavy Cardstock” cut setting to account for the bulk of the adhesive and copy paper and cut the “Hello” design.

I adhered the cut design with foam squares, added a couple of accents (a scrap of ribbon and a few pieces of the cork paper from the envelope in the Valley High Card Kit), and called this one finished! Super simple and fun!

How do YOU get one more project out of your kit leftovers? We'd love to hear!
