We asked Laurie LaRiviere (username Laurie LaRiviere) to join us on the blog this week. She mixes patterns + color in ways that always catch my eye, and I've been eager to share her work here on the blog!
Here's a look at this week's sketches - our layout sketch comes from Sasha Farina's "Places You'll Go" page in her Valley High gallery :
And our card sketch is from Dani Flanders' "Love You" card in her Valley High gallery : 
Laurie immediately reached for two of her die cut frames from our Snippets collection, and used them as a starting off point. The pieces just started to fall into place after that...I love how she uses Mister Huey in such a fun way!

She focused on layering different sizes of die cut flowers in the center of her card, and again, I love her use of Mister Huey!
