tutorial | recycled envelope accent with Anna-Maria Wolniak
First you should combine the basic elements for your layout: collect the proper shades of papers and embellishments which will work well with your photos.
Choose one of the glassine bags (I chose the square one from the Valley High Scrapbook Kit), and take the SC label off.
Add a circle label sticker or a circle punched from paper.
Stamp one of the circle stamps on the label (I used a stamp from the set by Lili Niclass). Make a little hole in the middle of the sentiment, choose one of the brads from the Matthew add-on and embellish the envelope.
You can add some more stamps to make your embellishment more interesting :) I used a lovely stamp from the 'Inked' class exclusive stamp set. Now add the envelope to your page.
I created a layout with a photo of my son who lost his tooth and I hide this little piece of him in this little glassine bag.
(Supplies - Valley High Scrapbook Kit, Valley High Project Life kit, Matthew add-on, Molly add-on, Jennifer add-on, July 4x6 stamp only add-on)
Have you upcycled your kit packaging into an embellishment? We'd love to see - link us up!
I knew there was a reason why i keep all of those cute little bags.

I love upcycling and have saved all of the bags from the kits so far. Now I have a use for them. Wonderful idea! :)
