Sunday Sketch | Renae

This week, Renae (SC username naenae) is joining us with her take on our sketches. Renae's cool and graphic cards are a standout in her gallery, and we're excited to share her work with you today!

Renae took both of this week's sketches and turned them into gorgeous cards!

Supplies Used: Planetarium Kit, Spencer's Kit

When I saw the layout sketch, I immediately thought of the Elle's Studio paper. It has the beautiful white and grey stripe that worked perfectly with the design. I used almost only patterned paper for this card, with the exception of the punctuation from the Spencer's exclusive SC alphabet that I used to accent the triangles and faux stitching. The sentiment is cut from the bottom strip of the Elle's Studio paper and layered with Glossy Accents and pop dots.

Supplies Used: Spencer's Kit

I changed the card sketch from horizontal to vertical, but kept the placement of the embellishments and sentiment. I wanted to make a masculine card, so I used cork with a blue, grey, and brown color scheme. The cork circles are from the middle of the Studio Calico cork cameras.
