Workspace Wednesday | Marcy Penner

I love my little room.  It's organized (mostly) and works for me.  Don't get me wrong… I'd love a big open space, but right now this is what I've had and I've made it work.

Thrift store finds, lots of jars and gallons of white paint.  It's my happy place.

Wow! You pack a lot of wonderful supplies into that room! I love it! I am so excited to have my own space too, but I am trying to figure out how to make it work a little better for me. I love the work table that you built, and am thinking I need something that I can use for storage as well. Right now I have a 6 X 3 table, but because it folds down, the legs take up most of the space underneath. Also, I have come to realize that I am a "stander," and not a "sitter" when it comes to scrapping, so something at counter height would be better for me. I also love the way you've created a few work stations. That is one of my goals for my room, too. Thanks for a peak into your room!

Love, love, love your space! Would you mind sharing where you got your awesome locker baskets?
Also I love how you have your stamps stored! What product are you using for that?
I'm so inspired by your space, now I want to re-organize! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Aww... then you everyone... you totally made my day!

TamiG and Shanz - the silver baskets are from the Canadian Superstore (hit and miss when they have them). The colored ones are from Gordmans.

Shanz - I store my stamps with the Avery Elle stamp pockets (same system that Jennifer McGuire uses).

JennilynFT - I am a standing scrapper, although I do pull over the stool I have at my computer on occasion.

When I imagine what my "dream scrap space" would look like, it's very much like what I just watched :)

Thanks for the tour. Love your space, especially all the little cubbies. I love the idea of the loaf pans... never thought of that before, but they are are a great size for storing things.
