"My name is Ashley Horton (SC username AshleyHorton1675) andI started scrapbooking about 8 years ago, and have been in love with it ever since. Scrapbooking started out for me as a fun creative outlet and documenting our family photos, but I eventually set goals and have been very fortunate in recent years to be published in several paper and online magazines and have designed for a variety of blogs and manufacturers. I am currently designing for American Crafts, Chic Tags, Silhouette, Echo Park, Creative Scrappers, and Get It Scrapped! I like to have fun when I am creating and enjoy telling the stories of our family on my layouts. One of my favorite things about this hobby, is the friendships I have made with so many other ladies who are also passionate about scrapbooking. Even though scrapbooking takes up the majority of my free time, I also enjoy cooking, reading, and watching movies!"

All time favorite past kit or collection: One of my favorite collections would definitely have to be Atlantic. I loved the great patterns and the dark grain wood veneers!

what's your go to technique? I love to add hand stitching to my layouts, to give an added bit of texture. And I most always finish off my layouts with a sprinkling of spray mist.
