I love layering. I'm pretty certain in practically every layout I do there is some kind of layering involved Not only can it bump up the interesting factor of a project, it can be a great way to use up pieces of die cuts or extra bits you have in your kit. On this layout, it starts with patterned paper, a layer of vellum, silhouette cut hearts, more patterned paper with typed journaling, a tag, another silhouette cut, the photos and then a mini title stapled on. Add in the digital elements stitched across the top and the sequin stapled snowflakes and it is a very layered layout indeed. So the challenge: layer it up! Don't forget watercolors, paint and mists can make for a great "flat" layer too.

Your layering is always perfect and LOVE the way you didn't remove all of the letters on the title, such a cool look.

I tend to layer a lot of papers/embellies on my layouts. Will definitely do this one tonight after I put Edward down for the night.

Here is my take - die cut, tag, recycled SC packaging (to hold the sequins/veneer!).

I hardly do much layering for fear of "overdoing it". At any rate, here's my simple layering attempt!
