Sunday Sketch I Sarah

This week, Sarah Klemish (SC username, sarahak), is sharing her take on our layout sketch! Sarah has such a great clean & fresh style and she takes beautiful photographs. We love seeing her work in the gallery and couldn't wait to see her work with the sketches!

First, let's look at this week's sketches - our 12x12 layout comes from Kim Stewart's Let's Go layout:

And here is Sarah's take on the layout sketch:

I really loved this fun sketch and kind of put my own twist to it. I started by adding ink splatters to the Hashtagged pattern paper. To create the block look to imitate the sketch I cut my block pieces from pieces of the Printshot patterned paper, and pieces from the Printshop Die Cut Journal Cards. I rounded all the corners of my blocks (and my picture). To mimic the heart in the sketch I cut the “Love” Printshot Stitched Journal Card and added a Cameo cut heart around it. I used that piece as part of my title as well. After adding the Printshop Plastic Journal Card I added the rest of my title with the Printshot Cardstock Stickers. The final touches were adding a Printshot Mini Adhesive Badge, journaling strips and some “confetti” from one of the Printshop Stitched Plastic Pockets that I cut open. I also added a strip of cut from the Printshop Sunday Best paper.
