When giving a handmade card, I love the idea of the envelope giving a little hint of the goodies inside. With a decorated envelope, your handmade card is sure to stand out as something special! With stamps, it’s super easy to create a one-of-a-kind envelope from scratch (or even from a plain white one).

For my envelope, I brought in a couple of the elements of the card with the whale and the colored fishes.Just like the card, I created a whale outline “stamp” by using the whale die as a stencil.

As an extra detail, I used the wave border stamp to create an area to write in the mailing address. Stamping is the perfect technique for this project because it keeps your envelopes flat!

I hope you try making some of your own custom envelopes! This quick and easy project is sure to make someone feel extra special!

(Supplies: Dies and stamps from Copper Mountain Card Kit, white cardstock, markers, envelope punch board, and ink)
