Our Layout of the Week, Reminds Me of You, comes from our member Wilna (username wilnaf). Wilna's artsy projects are always a treat to see in the gallery and we love her fun colorful style! To keep up with Wilna and see more of her work, be sure to follow her here at SC and check out her blog.

Here's what Wilna has to say about her layout:

I love clean mixed media pages. I love to use paint and mixed media on my pages but becuase the “canvas” is only 12x12, I want to do it as subtle as possible. So for this page, I created paint stroke cut files! I used my Silhouette and Watercolor paper (140lb) to cut out the paint strokes. The paper is so thick, I clicked the double cut box. Once I had perfect paint strokes, I painted them with Acrylic paint in thick layers to give an impasto effect. Now they were ready to be layered and used on my page as a mixed media element but with a clean and fresh look. I actually made a video of my process that you can find on my blog.
