Sunday Sketch | Barbara

This week, our layout sketch is an 8.5x11 layout with a burst of stitching and embellishments. Our card sketch features a pair of star pins, and our Project Life sketch uses a diagonal design and space for a 3x4 photo. This past year working with sketch's has really gotten me back in the groove of making full layouts instead of just Project Life® spreads. I loved all of the sketches but the layout Tina made really inspired this layout. I used only the Hello Hello Project Life® kits for this and it was a fun challenge to not use any traditional scrapbooking supplies. I played around a bit with the stitched lines on Tina's sketch and opted to use my Silhouette Sketch Pens to draw them for me. I wanted them to mimic the lines on an old vinyl record so hopefully that translates. I kept the cluster with the photo of my current playlist pretty close to the sketch as well as the sequin accents around the lines. I just stuck the sequins down and then colored them in with markers that matched the rainbow paper. I can't wait to slip this layout into my Project Life® album as an insert.
