Party Bags | Robyn Werlich

I love to use my kits for other things that scrapbooking! Today, I am sharing these darling party bags that I made using the Poet Society Card Kit. I used my Silhouette Cameo die-cutting machine to cut out small 2" pinwheels from various papers from the card kit. I layered two pinwheels together (with the patterned papers on the outsides), glued them together and then folded in one side of each edge to create the pinwheel shape. I placed a glue-dot in the middle of each pinwheel to hold the edges, then added a circle punched shape of the paper with a staple on top for added reinforcement.

I die-cut small white card stock banners and used the stamp set from the card kit to add the words. I then glued the banners and a pinwheel to each glassine baggie. Now, they are ready to be filled with goodies!

I also traced the digital 'hooray' stamp in my Silhouette software and cut it out with the red patterned paper. I glued it to toothpicks to be used as a simple cupcake topper.

How fun and simple! This would be darling for a shower, birthday party, graduation, or a simple way to celebrate the end of testing week for your kids. Any reason to celebrate right?! I hope that you are inspired to create some fun pinwheels and cupcake toppers for your next celebration!
