Weekly Challenge | Go Vertical with Michelle
Tags:This week, our member Michelle (username Michelle Wedertz), is challenging you to use a vertical title on your next project. We're excited to turn our weekly challenges over to the SC community! Check in each week as we ask one of our members to inspire you with a challenge based on one of their projects from our member gallery. Be sure to follow Michelle here at SC and visit her blog to see more of her work and keep up with her!

My layout, which was based off of a recent Sunday Sketch, came about as a result of wanting to create a mini-album documenting a three day trip I took with my husband this past July. This is officially my first Handbook size project and I was a little anxious about working with the smaller 6x8 page, so I turned to the sketch to ease some of that anxiety as well as jumpstart my creativity. Having a plan already in place allowed me to focus on the details and the fun of trying out something new. My challenge to you is to use a vertical title on your next project! I can't wait to see what you make!
Now it’s your turn to create a project based on Michelle's challenge! Share your new project for the challenge in the SC gallery (add the hashtag #SCchallenge to make it easier to find!), then link up your project in the comments of this post by September 29th and to be entered to win a $5 gift card to the Studio Calico Shop! This week's challenge winner will be announced in the October 11th Layout of the Week post.

I used the August sticker vertically in this PL spread. It was perfect for the month changing in the middle of the weekly spread.
