One More Layout | Natalie Elphinstone

Like most of you, there are definitely times when I get creative block, lose my mojo, and sometimes question my ability! But I've always got a trick up my sleeve when those moments hit, and that is to turn to the places where I find the most inspiration, including the Studio Calico Galleries. The Member Gallery is always filled with such a huge variety of different projects, and I watch the countdown widget to anxiously await the next Creative Team Gallery reveal as well! I love discovering what everyone else is doing with the same supplies I have left over once I finish my CT layouts and I always get inspired to create something extra with my kits once reveal is live.

One of the standout layouts for me this month, amongst sooooo many others, is Shanna Noel's "Remember" layout.

The way she paired the bright green leaves with the forest paper from the Main Kit struck an immediate chord of inspiration and I knew I wanted to try my own version with the same idea! Sometimes all it takes is just that one starting point and then I can run with it in my own direction, and I ended up turning this into a Christmas page by mixing in bits and pieces from Pine Hill.

Maybe you've made a few projects with Walden and you're stuck for ideas on what to do next, or maybe your kits are only just arriving and you don't know where to start.
