Weekly Challenge | Be True with Toni

Tags:

This week, our member Toni (username supertoni), is challenging you to be true to your style for your next project. We love our talented members! Check back each week as we ask one of our members to inspire you with a challenge based on one of their projects from our member gallery. Be sure to follow Toni here at SC to see more of her work and keep up with her!

Hello Studio Calico Community! I am thrilled to be hosting the weekly challenge today. This Project Life spread came together fairly quickly. It helps when you have a bunch of photos to choose from, and who doesn’t love those first day of school photos of their kids? When putting together a Project Life spread I try to stick to only a couple of photo sizes to speed up the process. That seems to be what works for me. For this specific week, I only used 4x6 and 3x4 inch photos. I also picked products that I really love and wanted to work with. I used the Sandlot Project Life Kit, the Sandlot paper pad, as well as some cork embellishments from my stash. I added in some labels, machine stitching, and hand journaling. Those are my go to techniques for Project Life. My challenge for you this week is to be true to you. Use photo sizes, products, and techniques you love (even if you have already done them before.) I can’t wait to see what y’all come up with!

Now it’s your turn to create a project based on Toni's challenge! Share your new project for the challenge in the SC gallery (add the hashtag #SCchallenge to make it easier to find!), then link up your project in the comments of this post by November 24h and to be entered to win a $5 gift card to the Studio Calico Shop! This week's challenge winner will be announced in the November 29th Layout of the Week post.
