Weekly Challenge | Un-scrapped Story with Mandie

This week, our member Mandie (username MandieLou), is challenging you to take a look back and scrap a photo or story that went untold. We love our talented members! Check back each week as we ask one of our members to inspire you with a challenge based on one of their projects from our member gallery. Be sure to follow Mandie here at SC to see more of her work and keep up with her!

I was browsing my old photo files & came upon a whole series of my ten year old when he was 3. I remember taking the photos. I just did not remember this particular one. That face is quintessential Noah. It wasn't even the image I was looking for, but it had to be scrapped! I pulled out my Underground kits and got to work. This "file" paper from Crate Paper is one of my favorites. I cut apart the files and layered them on the page, filling them with little embellishments, stamps and mist. The end result is my current favorite layout. My challenge to you guys is a simple one: What is that un-scrapped photo or story? That gem you missed somewhere along the way or just never got to? Make a layout about it. Tell the story.

Now it’s your turn to create a project based on Mandie's challenge! Share your new project for the challenge in the SC gallery (add the hashtag #SCchallenge to make it easier to find!), then link up your project in the comments of this post by November 10th and to be entered to win a $5 gift card to the Studio Calico Shop! This week's challenge winner will be announced in the November 14th Layout of the Week post.

This is one of my all-time favorites! Actually, everything from @mandielou is my favorite. Must go scrap now. I have quite a few unscrapped stories.
