Our Layout of the Week, Hello Everyday Life, comes from our member Pam (username PamBaldwin). Our community fell in love with Pam's bold black and white layout and fun everyday photo. To keep up with Pam and see more of her work, be sure to follow her here at SC!

Thank you so much for selecting my layout for Layout of the Week!! It's truly an honor to be chosen from amongst a gallery so full of talent and inspiration :) Life with a 4 year old brings about a whole new appreciation for documenting the stories of everyday life. My little guy loves to dress up! On this day, it seemed pretty harmless to carry on with our to-do list in costume. I snapped this picture with my phone at the grocery store, a quick capture to remember what life looks like with this 4 year old boy. I think the picture itself pretty much tells the story, so my journaling is just one sentence to add the date and context. I paired it with a giant word bubble from Ali Edwards' digital Story Bubbles (giant word bubbles make everything more fun!). I played around with the layout design (which is always the hardest part for me), and finally decided on a column right down the middle of the page, backed by that awesome black and white star paper from the Clover scrapbook add-on (April 2014). I like how the central design and neutral colours let the photo and story shine!
