Our Layout of the Week, December Daily cover, comes from our member Tara (username TaraElias). December Daily albums and foundation pages are starting to pop up in the gallery. Tara's stunning cover stood out in the gallery with her simple design and creative use of gold sequins! I've had the idea of a sequin title simmering since I started thinking about another mini album I am currently working on, but once I decided to use this white album for DD, I was stuck on what to do for the cover. I've used Handbook-style albums for my last two DD's, so I wanted it to be a bit different. I used some number templates I printed on the computer and started adhering the sequins to the templates using glossy accents. It was really just a matter of covering up all the little holes :) It was either this, or glue the sequins down in a straight line following the pattern. I decided this was more fun and a little more "glitzy"! All in all, it took about two hours to complete, but the end result was so worth it!
