Workspace Wednesday | Anna-Maria Wolniak

Hello everyone! I am so happy that you find a moment to check out the Studio Calico blog at the last day of 2014!!! I just started my third year in this fabulous Creative Team and guess what - I've never showed my scrap space on the blog. I think that the reason is that I don't have a typical workspace...

I live in a really tiny flat and I wish I could say that I had a room dedicated to my scrapbooking passion but in fact - all I have is a little corner of the living room (which is actually also my bedroom and a diningroom...) where I keep all my goodies.

I organized everything in a few basic cabinets from IKEA - the only brand I know which design furniture suitable to the sizes of scrapbooking papers. I don't have a desk, I use the one and the only table in my house, but usually I scrap on my knees. (Below is an old photo which I made this summer, so you can get a general view).

Anyway... I took a few peeks of the details how I store my goodies.

This is a close-up on the main part of the corner: my new white pixma (I print my ffavorite printables here; I have another, tiny Canon printer only for the photos, but it's hidden in a drawer). Few mugs with various brushes, scissors, markers, pencils - these are my favorites.

Now - the details. This is how I stock the paints: tiny Color Theory acrylic tubes found their place in a metal box.

All my mists, sprinklers, ecolines, watercolors, neocolor II crayons and peerless watercolors are stuffed in this little drawer (believe me, everything is well organized here).

Lovely details and current kit embellishments I keep in these glass jars bought in the H&M Home shop.

And - at least - a special box for wood veneers (I know there are some in the glass jars as well - but you know, there's never enough time to clean up scrapbook things before Christmas!).

Of course this is not the end of the journey through my scrap nook, there are still lots of hidden storage, secret boxes full of thickers and alphabets, packages with stickers, envelopes and bags with patterned papers, etc... But I have to leave something for the next time!

The main thing is - that I wish you all - our beloved readers, the Happy scrappy New 2015 Year!!! Wish your today's party will be amazing and hope that you will start the upcoming year with us and Far far Away kits :) Plenty of inspired tutorials and ideas are waiting in the line to appear in January, so stay tuned!

Thank you for stopping by.
Anna-Maria

I love it! You are so organized. I don't have a special room either. My stuff is in a corner of my bedroom and I use my bed. Thanks for sharing pics of your lovely space.

I give you a lot of credit to be able to work in your living space and live in your work space. I am lucky I can just close the door on my mess. Thanks for sharing.

So glad to see a very small space, yet very functional. We don't need a lot of room, we just need the fun tools and papers to play. Lovely photo of your Dining, craft, desk, living space! Happy New year! :)
