New Handbooks and Albums Update
Happy Sneak Night! We're so excited about the new 6x8 Handbooks and 9x12 Albums! We've seen some questions from the community about their release, so we thought we'd answer them for you in one place for easy access. Yet another reason to be excited about Sneak Night, right?!
Subscribers, are you ready to pre-order your handbook or album? Join us for Sneaks at midnight EST, when you can click here to go straight to the Preorder page! The new albums will read "Sold Out" in the shop until they're released to Subscribers, but don't worry - you'll be able to preorder starting right at midnight EST!
Shipping
Will the new albums bundle with kits? No, we want to get these out the door to you sooner than bundling with February's kits! Albums are scheduled to arrive by the end of next week and we will ship albums out upon their arrival. The albums and shipping charge per album are as follows:
- Domestic shipping for the 9x12 Album - $29.99 ($31.99 for leather)+ $4 per album shipping fee
- International shipping for 9x12 Album - $29.99 ($31.99 for leather) + $9 per album shipping fee
- Domestic 6x8 Handbook - $19.99 + $4 per album shipping fee
- International 6x8 Handbook - $19.99 + $9 per album shipping fee
Is there a quantity limit to purchase? Nope! Pre-order as many as you 'd like! Just remember, there will be a small shipping fee for each album ordered.
Will these work like typical preorders? Yep! To preorder pages, just click on the preorder button, and that automatically completes your order (your card will be charged for the album, but the shipping fee will be applied to your order when they actually ship)! If for example you would like five albums, you will just need to click preorder (for the albums you want) 5 separate times, and 5 separate orders are then placed. So if you click it only once, an order is automatically created, so keep this in mind while you're shopping for your albums.
Page Protectors & More
***ADDED BONUS: Multi-pack page protectors ship FREE with your album preorder!: As a result of our awesome customer inquiries, we decided to put up the multipack of the page protectors (individuals will be available for sale during the Reveal period) with tonight's album preorder. We wanted to put more of them up for sale, but simply didn't have time and we wanted to be assured of the exact count. The 9x12 multipack will be available here and the 6x8 multipack available here.
Will each of the page protectors be available separately? Yes, the individual packs will be available at Reveal.
What style protectors will come with the handbooks?
For the 9x12 albums, you will receive 2 each of 4 designs:
- Full 9x12 sheet
- 3x4 grid (total of 9 pockets)
- 3x3 grid (total of 12 pockets)
- Five 3x4's with two 4x6's (total of 7 pockets)
For 6x8 albums you'll get 2 each of 5 designs::
- Full 6x8 sheet
- 2x2 grid (total of 12 pockets)
- 3x4 grid (total of 4 pockets)
- Two 3x4's and one 4x6 (total of 3 pockets)
- Two 4x6's (total of 2 pockets

Will the 6x8 protectors fit the Heidi Swapp planner from the Capture 30 Class? While the protectors won't work with the Heidi Swapp albums, they are totally compatible with other cool planning systems, like with Kikki.k and Filofax!
Will the albums have a thicker spine? Yep! The new spines are 2.5"!
Will there still be 6x8 refill pages with the 4 holes available for purchase? These will still be available for a few months while we make the transition to selling protectors for the new album systems. You can find them right here in our shop!
Do the top and bottom holes on the 9x12 match up with the current 12x12? No, they are not compatible. However, the new album protectors are fully interchangeable!
Are the protectors shiny? They're made of high quality material that's very clear and not foggy at all. When photographed, they can look a little shiny, but in person they're crystal clear! Here are a few pics of the some of the 9x12 page protectors in action!
When is the second release scheduled? We are planning for a second release in late Spring, early Summer. We will keep definitely keep you posted on progress! There will be a variety of new colors during this second release, and we'll show you some peeks before the big day!

@jessie2point0 @kathleen - our apologies, that was a typo! Five 3x4's with two 4x6's (total of 7 pockets) is the layout we referenced previously and included in the 9x12.

@Brinkleyboy these woodgrain handbooks are different than the previous. The previous were Walnut and these are Pine woodgrain.

@spagirl - I have read that the shipping cost ($4 for US) is there no matter what. Bundled, not bundled.
So really the cost is $33.99 per album.

Is there a reason that each album attracts a separate shipping charge, if shipping is based on weight?

I have been, for a long time, eagerly anticipating the old size Handbooks to be restocked, was so excited for this release! But, as a Canadian, that makes a cloth 6x8 album $34.75 Canadian, and $47.93 for the 9x12 (shipped) Yikes! Just not feasible. Why so much more for shipping, on each? Especially with the low fuel costs now.
I LOVE those albums. I use the old grey ones to store my stamps and have ran out of room (2 full ones haha) now to figure out another plan. I wish the original Handbook designs weren't changed :) they worked great for me!
