I created this page for a project I’ve been doing for close to 5 years now called, Letters to my Daughters. The project began with just a collection of notes I had been writing for my girls when they turned two. The notes told little stories such as their different likes and dislikes, funny things they said, and millstones they reached. Over the years the project has grown into a collection of favourite photos, inspirational quotes, words of wisdom, and personal letters sharing all my hopes and dreams for each of them. The hope is that when they are older they will read these books, know their full story, and see how much they are loved. My inspiration behind this page started with the photo and the story of that day. Right now my daughter has the most amazing imagination, which I hope she will never lose. But if she ever forgets the power of her imagination, it is my hope that this page, along with others, will be that great reminder and inspire her to imagine again.
