This week our scrapbook sketch is a 12" x 12" layout featuring a repeating motif on the left-hand side, a large title near the top with journaling underneath, and a photo over layers. Our card sketch has a repeating title as the background and a stamped image as the main focal point. And our pocket page sketch features a 3" x 4" photo card with journaling and sentiment and 3" x 4" filler card with embellishment. Creative Team member Anna- Maria Wolniak is joining us this week and sharing her take on the week's scrapbook sketch! Be sure to follow Anna-Maria here at SC to see more of her work and keep up with her.
Our scrapbook sketch comes from Nancy Damiano's layout Art layout:

Our card sketch comes from Carson Riutta's Old Fashioned Salutations card:

And our pocket page sketch comes from Jen Chapin's Murphy Pocket Page spread:

And here's Anna-Maria's take on our scrapbook sketch:
I had an extremely hard task this time. Yes, I used the scrapbook sketch based on one of your all-time favorite layouts from the Creative Team Gallery—

Nancy had this awesome butterfly motif. I changed it into the composition of stars. Her butterflies were painted, so I stamped some of my stars, and also added some black dots here and there.
The best part of this layout is a picture of Ryan Gosling (Yes, ladies! I scrapped that!). I combined few layers under it using patterned papers from the main kit, a piece of vellum, and an old label. I chose embellishments in yellow and blue shades, brads, and puffy stickers.
Now it's your turn! Make a project using one of this week's sketches as a starting point, then share it in the Studio Calico gallery. Use the hashtag #SCsketch to make it easier for other members to find! Leave us a link to your project by May 8th in the comments here to be entered to win a $5 gift card to Studio Calico Shop. This week's sketch winner will be announced in the May 13th Layout of the Week post.

I was inspired by the angled stamping on the card sketch for my title card on my Documentor spread.

I loved what Nancy did with the butterfly veneer, so I did the same. I flipped the rest of the sketch and put photos at the top: https://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/202616-i-must-be-sweet
