LOTW | Olatz

Our Layout of the Week, Christmas is all around me, comes from our member Olatz (username olatz). We love Olatz's festive layout with beautiful Christmas details and her clever use of the Walden kit deer, turning him into an adorable reindeer! I feel it in my fingers... I feel it in my toes... Christmas is all around me and so the feeling grows... And with this song in mind (and the photo of my happy elf socks ;) ), I started creating this layout. I was looking for an advent kind of feeling since I don't make the classic december daily album and I really wanted to document those days. I decided to add some thicker numbers, those that all of us have on our stash, at the bottom of the page. Although I glued them randomly they remind me of an advent calendar. Then, I designed and cut my title with my Silhouette and with some red paint and embossed gold horns I converted the little deer (from the Walden Scrapbooking kit) into a reindeer. So cute, isn't it? The rest of the page came together really easy, some splatters of Mr Hueys gold ink and a couple of embellishment clusters. And that's it! Thank you so much for choosing my page as Layout of the Week! I was super happy to know that I inspired you with this layout.
