LOTW I Monika

Our Layout of the Week, Two Girls, comes from our member Monika, SC username MonaLisa. Monika's layout is beautifully done with lots of white space, patterned paper layers, black ink splatters and stitching details. Her gallery is full of inspiring projects. Here's what Monika has to say about her layout and about the SC community:

This layout was made with a sketch I created for the WCS blog. I really loved this paper with feathers, so my first thought was to cut them and use them as a kind of garland. I'm always pleased to create with pastel (girly) colors, because as a Mom of two boys, I don't have a lot of oppornunity to do this. I made this layout for my friend, who is in the photo with her daughter.

I like SC very much and I like putting my projects in the gallery. The SC community is full of nice and inspirational people. When your work is appreciated, it is a good motivation and a really nice feeling!
