Sunday Sketch | Lisa Spangler

This week, our layout sketch is an 12x12 layout with a fun grid of cards and photos. Our card sketch features a stitched title and pretty accent piece and our Project Life sketch uses a decorated 3x4 journaling card and a photo. Hey hey! I love all the sketches this week so much, but Stephanie's use of vellum on her scrapbook layout really caught my eye. So, I decided to work with that one and make -- yep, you guessed it -- a card! Plus I had a bunch of scraps leftover from the Odyssey and Cirque kits and this sketch is the perfect way to use them up.

I started out by placing some scraps on a white base card and moving them around, then I added more and more layers. Then I stamped the leaf from the the Odyssey card kit with white pigment ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder and cut it out. A bit of sewing holds two of the leaves in place. The vellum heart from the Cirque kit was the finishing touch!
