Our card sketch comes from Julie Campbell's Keep Your Head Up card:

Our Project Life sketch comes from Marcy Penner's Project Life® spread:

I liked the idea of layering a circle embellishment on top of a rectangular embellishment so I decided to use one of the 3x4 cards from the Lisse Street Project Life® kit as a base for one of the chipboard pieces (also found in the kit). I was drawn to Marcy's handwriting and wondered how I could incorporate this element on my card...when I came across the grey card designed by Ali Edward's from this month's kit, I knew it was perfect to house the chipboard piece. And both pieces worked so well together as a great sentiment for an encouragement card...bonus!

The card definitely needed a little something extra so I made use of the beautiful floral washi tape from the kit and ran it along the bottom of the card. I finished it off with a die-cut piece from an Amy Tangerine pack I had bought in the shop...isn't it cute?!

And there you have it...a card that literally took less than five minutes thanks to Marcy's great design!
