Thank you SC community for choosing this as LOTW. I am totally honored. I am currently taking the Type class being taught by Ali Edwards and that's what prompted me to make this layout. I wanted to mix a bunch of different 'types' here - Ali's stamp, the giant alpha, the letter stickers and my handwriting. I love that alpha from Lisse Street Scrapbook kit. The color is just right and the size is just right. I really like how it all works together. As for the design of the layout itself I had a very different idea in my head. I usually think in the terms of straight horizontal lines or straight vertical lines ( I am engineer by profession you see...). I am glad that I didn't stick anything down to begin with. I played around with the alphas and the photos and really liked everything on an angle. Those red hearts from Carolina Moon Scrapbook kit were awesome for the needed pop of color on this layout. Most importantly, I ended up recording a few facts about my boys which I am sure they will enjoy looking at later.
