Video | Mixing it up in Your Project Life® Album with Stephanie Bryan

Hey everyone!! Stephanie back again with you to share a look at my May Project Life® album. I'm pretty sure I fall in love with this style of memory keeping every time I start a new monthly album. I love choosing a size, printing out my photos, trying something new and finishing another book!

I decided to go with a 6x6 album this month and created my own book using trimmed chipboard, book rings and a hole punch. I love using a binder, but creating my own book is super fun and inspiring!

I added in a lot of our photos this month, including our "day in the life" photos from mid-month. I also experimented with photo sizes and adding in more white space around my photos. It's fun to have an idea in mind and then try it out!

I used the Fuse tool A LOT this month and created a few different sized page protectors. I loved being able to make my page protectors work for the photos I had versus trying to make my photos work for a page protector.

Below is a little walk through video of my May album! I hope you enjoy it!! My Project Life® book collection is growing and growing and I just love it! I hope these books continue to inspire you to think about your supplies in new and fun ways! As always, thank you so much for joining me and for all your encouraging words!

Supplies used:
Carolina Moon Project Life® Kit, Carolina Moon Scrapbook Kit, Dean, Frank, Sammy, Lauren, Summer Vacation Stamp by One Little Bird, Color Theory Labels Bundle, Father's Day Card Set, Fuse Photo Sleeve Tool

I love it. Right now I'm "trying" to start a mini album for my daughter who just turned 18!! She is headed off into her future, and I want to put together an album from birth to now. Big undertaking... but looking at your albums totally inspires me. I just need to keep it simple and figure out what size will work best. I know for sure I want mixed size pages and pocket pages - I LOVE THAT about your albums! Thank you for sharing!

Love these albums!! What type of photo paper do you use? Your pics look thicker than just regular paper.(sorry if I've asked this before) Also the new dog is the cutest (probably not at 3am!).

Hello Stephanie! love all your PL books this year and really enjoy getting a glimpse at them each month. One question about May...how did you cut the front and back cover of the album? Thanks again- Gretchen

What a fun idea! I was just looking at the WRMK 6x6 albums yesterday & thought it would be a good size! I do 6x8 PL but in the past couple months I've been adding 6x6 layouts to it & other size inserts. I really enjoy your monthly PL albums!

@stephaniebryan Thank you for posting! Can you direct me to a tutorial showing how you make your 9 photo collages on one photo?? Also, what printer do you use to print your photos??

    Thanks in advance!

LOOOVE your albums @stephaniebryan!! Could you do a quick tutorial on how you resize pictures to divide them into two photos how you did last month? Would love to learn how to do that in my album! Have two mini albums on my to-do list, one for my mini wedding (just signing the papers) and the other for a a mini trip, and am totally inspired by your albums for that!

@gjunker - I actually picked up this chipboard in the 6x6 size so I didn't have to trim it down. I'm pretty sure I got it from Amazon. :)

@toniatigre - sure!! It's really so easy! I usually print my larger (wider) photos on 8.5x11 photo paper and then trim them down the middle, punch holes and add them to my albums!! Easy peasy! I'll try to put together a video, though! :)
