Video | DIY Card Holder with Lisa Spangler

It never fails. Every time I buy a gift card they're out of cute holders. Does this happen to you?

Today I'm going to share a quick video with how I roll my own. I'll show you a fun way to make an all over pattern with stamping, too. Here goes!

Supplies used: Stamp Set: Workplace by In A Creative Bubble, Stamp + Die Set: Friendship by Life.Love.Paper, Color Theory Ink Pad: Inky Black, Galileo Card Kit, Baxter Paper, Vellum, Circle Punches, Sewing Machine.

Here are a few little tips:

* I used gold metallic thread to sew up the gift card holder, and I used a white bobbin. This saves money on the expensive gold thread, plus the white goes so well with vellum!
* The clear drawstring bags that our SC crafty goodies are shipped in are so great for storing scraps. If you don't have one, try a ziplock bag
* Speaking of scraps, this is a great way to use them up!

Hope you enjoyed the video! xo

Really cute! I love that coffee stamp! This makes me want a sewing machine, too. Thanks for the inspiration.
