Happy Sunday! Ginny here with you today with my take on the scrapbook sketch. The thing that first caught my eye on the sketch based on Geralyn's scrapbook layout were all the squares, so that is the direction I went in. Instead, I went for a little bit larger photo, 5x5, and the squares smaller, about 1.5x1.5. I added a strip that I cut out of one of the Weekend journaling cards, added in the facts and clipped it to the top of my photo. I finished it off with some typed journaling at the bottom and splattered some paint and mist. I hope you will join in the week and create a project based off one of the sketches, please remember to upload your projects to the gallery!
Supplies: Brimfield Scrapbook kit, Brimfield Stationery kit, Typewriter scrapbook add-on, Weekend card set, Darcy card set, Color Theory Limited Edition Power Suit ink pad, Heidi Swapp Color Shine mist

Great layout, @ginny. I love the squares and sentiments, and the repeated date stamp, too. Cute photo, awesome and sweet story.

@penny @TresaO It is just a mistake! Since I can't edit the blog post I will post the PL sketch in the gallery. I'm sure Caitlin will fix it when she gets the chance :)
