I love using sketches as a jumping off point for my layouts. They're the perfect solution to a creative roadblock. For this layout, I was inspired by both the card and scrapbook sketches. I loved the big star focal point on Lisa's card and was also inspired by the sentiment strip, which translated into banner strips behind my star shaped photo for my layout. I always love a good "right now" page for a quick snapshot into my boys' life at the moment and Catherine's list style layout inspired my journaling.
