Memory Keeping in a Hello Forever Planner with Lisa Truesdell

Tags:

Hey, everyone! We are well into summer here, which means life is a little crazy. Swim team, camps, and, oh, did I mention we adopted two new kittens? With every day packed full of drop offs, swimming and adventures, I'm so glad to have a quick and easy way to record it all.

With time at a premium right now, I turned to two of my favorite supplies while working on this week - washi tape and stamps. Both are perfect matches for planners (no bulk!), and they helped this spread come together in no time.

I started by arranging my photos on the background, and then added a washi strip from the Scout Planner kit to each one. The washi strips added color to the spread, and gave me a place to journal. Since I printed my photos a bit larger this week (2.5x2.5in and 2x3in), I didn't have much room to fill after that. With a little messy stamping (all in gray, for consistency) and some stickers and banner embellishments, I was done!

While I may not be able to capture every story from our week in my planner, I'm enjoying being able to look back on a recap of a week. It's been a great match for this time in my family's life.
