Using the Sonnet Planner Kit with Cathy Vongnaraj

Hey there, planner gang! Today I'm going to show you some cute ways to decorate your planner and stretch your products!

Tip #1: Use stamps as a pattern maker. I loved using the two solid circles from the Hello Forever Fresh Start stamp. I decided to stick to a four-color palette for this spread: Deja Blue, Flamingo, Sunny Day, and Mojito. I loved the scattered confetti look, and with the Color Theory dye inks being perfect for generational (is that a word, haha?) stamping, I was able to ink the stamp once and create various shades of each color. Try it!

Tip #2: Use sticky notes to hide personal information. I have been on a budget kick lately, so I like to have a good understanding of where my finances go! However, when you have your planner laying around in meetings and boardrooms every day, you probably don't really want people seeing that type of info. I created a little "filter" with my marble/moon sticky note.

Tip #3: Use highlighters or markers for a quick way to make a stamped image pop! And lastly, another fun method of adding color to your planner is using a highlighter or Tombow brush pen as a background behind stamps - just to make it look more fun! I tried to stick to the same color palette, but feel free to use more toned down highlighters or lighter markers. I like the Tombow pens because they don't bleed!

Here's a final look at each page of this spread!

I hope this little project will inspire you to make pretty little pages in your planner!

Um, I'm OBSESSED with this spread! It's so fun! I love the way you layered your stamps with highlighter/marker - it adds a little extra color AND it makes the reminder pop. Those number stamps are adorable too... Love everything about this!
