Video | "Thistle All Be Okay" with Natalie Elphinstone

I was really drawn to the Thistle Stamp Set this month, and my mind keeps imagining different ways to use it. For a start, there are so many wreathy possibilities which shall surely take you Americans all the way through fall and Thanksgiving and straight into Christmas! But today I wanted to concentrate on the punny sentiments and focus on the thistles themselves by creating a little realistic scene to place them in. I'm using some good old fashioned techniques of white-on-white embossing and some ink blending to make them pop, and I'll share plenty of my tricks for making this work in my video today.

With plenty of other possibilities whirring around in my head for this stamp set, I'm off to play some more. I hope I've inspired you today with some new ideas, and don't forget to upload any of your own projects made with these fun stamps into the gallery. I'd love to check them out! Thanks for stopping by!
