Using Cypress Grove in Your Traveler's Notebook with Jamie Waters

Tags:

Hello, there! Today I am sharing with you a spread in my traveler's notebook using the Cypress Grove Scrapbook Kit. I really love this month's color palette - the peach and pinks together with the greys and light blues really speak to me! I chose to cut up the negative sleeve that came with the kit so that I could use it in my notebook. I love that it frames these two photos perfectly and I still have a bunch of negative boxes to use in the future!

The kraft and white floral die cuts were some of my favorite items this month. I used practically all of the florals on just one layout in the gallery! The hand drawn look makes this non-drawer/doodler so happy! Tucking just one piece next to my photos adds a nice whimsical touch.

I have to admit that Jasmine Jones' handwritten word paper is one of my all time favorites. I chose to only cut a small portion to use in my notebook - I will be using it sparingly as it's just so gorgeous. One cool idea for that paper would be to watercolor different phrases so that a nice rainbow of colors pops off the page! It would also look really great in a grid-based layout with the negative boxes framing it.

Thanks for taking a peek at how I used the Cypress Grove Scrapbook Kit in my traveler's notebook spread.

Supplies: Cypress Grove Scrapbook kit; Studio Calico Theory Pigment Ink (Lemon Zest); Other- Tiny Attacher, Pen.
