Using Confidant in Your Traveler's Notebook with Theresa Doan

Tags:

Hi, everyone! Theresa here to share a traveler's notebook layout with you using the new Confidant kits! One thing I have really enjoyed doing in my traveler's notebook layouts is using stamps to create patterned backgrounds.

I used this month's Stamp Kit to create a fun background. I first took the two dotted stamps with teal ink and created a random background with them.

I then used the cross lined stamp with black ink and randomly stamped that a few times.

I printed an Instax photo and placed it over a spot where I did not get a good impression with the stamp. I then used the letter stickers from the Planner Kit to create a title. I also used a little sticky note to add a bit of journaling to the photo.

Creating backgrounds with your stamps is a fun way to get more use out of your stamps and to create one-of-a-kind pages. I like to do the same with word and phrase stamps as well.

I hope you enjoyed my project and consider giving a stamped background a shot on your next page!
